Sunday School
Raeford Presbyterian offers a variety of different classes to
suit the needs of church members and visitors ages 4 and up.
Each class studies relevant topics driven by our aim to provide
a biblically centered learning environment. Sundy School classes
begin at 9:45 am for all ages. For information on specific classes,
please contact the church office.
Sunday
Morning Worship
Worship is at the heart of the life of any church. Please
join us for our traditional worship service every Sunday at
11:00 am.
Nursery
A nursery is provided every Sunday during Sunday School and
morning worship for ages 0-3.
Presbyterian
Women
Presbyterian Women have five circles that meet to discover
God’s word, pray and serve others through providing
food for the youth and bereaved families; visits to nursing
and rest home residents; letters to our missionary family,
our military , and our college students; and various other
activities to fulfill God’s calling.
Men of
the Church
The Men of Church meet once a month for breakfast gatherings
featuring a guest speaker, in effort to further fellowship
and growth in The Word of God. Additionally, the Men of the
Church meet with Baptist and Methodists men’s groups
and sponsor several dinners throughout the year. The Men of
the Church are involved with organizations such as Habitat
for Humanity, and through prayerful consideration entertain
special requests for assistance.
Children’s
Programs
Children K- 5th grade are eligible for our array of educational
and recreational children’s program. Dates and times
vary for our different activities. Please refer to the church
calendar or contact the church office for details.
Youth Programs
Youth grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend our entertaining
and faith-building activites. Dates and times may be found in
our weekly news, church calendar or by contacting our church
office.
Music
Programs
Sanctuary
Choir
The Sanctuary choir provides a depth of worship through music
for the 11:00 am worship service as well as several special
and seasonal performances. All adults college age and up are
invited and welcome to join. Reading music is not required
to enjoy the opportunity for service and fellowship. Practice
is held Wednesdays at 7:30.
Children’s
Choir
For K-6th grade, our children’s choir rehearses Wednesday
afternoons and performs several times a year during our morning
worship service. Additionally we present a Christmas musical
and spring musical.
Adult Handbell
Choir
All interested adults are welcome to participate in this unique
and enriching activity. No previous experience or music reading
ability is required. The handbell choir practices on Wednesdays
and plays for several 11:00 am worships services September
through April.
Youth Handbell
Choir
For interested Middle School and High School ringers, rehearsal
is on Sunday nights and performances are during various morning
worship services throughout the year. The youth handbell choir
also attends a Handbell Festival in the fall or spring every
year.
Outreach Programs
Raeford
Presbyterian Church offers a vast array of outreach programs,
including international and domestic missions, The Good Samaritan
Fund, Habitat for Humanity, and scholarship funds.
