Mission Statement

In response to the call of God, through grace and the love of Jesus Christ,
we are committed to growing in our Love for God,
which enables our Love for ourselves to grow in a healthy way,
equipping us to increase our Love for others.

How We View Our Mission:

We believe in theology of mission, as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith: "Christ hath commissioned his Church to go into all the world and to make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28: 19-20).

  • We desire to proclaim the gospel message of Jesus Christ's atoning death on the cross to all segments of our community so that all people will trust in Him alone for their salvation from sin and eternal damnation.
  • We want to contribute by our prayers, gifts and personal efforts of compassion and mercy to the extension of the Kingdom of Christ to every ethnic group, nation and socio-economic level.
  • We long for God's grace to glorify and enjoy God through equipping our congregation to work together to fulfill the great commission by making disciples of all people.

What We Believe:

We want to be true to the doctrines taught in scriptures which were recovered by the Reformation and summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and therefore:

  • We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

  • We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that sinners are totally unable to save themselves from displeasure, except by His mercy.

  • We believe that salvation is by God alone, as He sovereignly saves those whom He wills. His choice is based on grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God’s people and gives them strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.

  • We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals, but as families in successive generation according to his covenant promises.

  • We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people unto Himself.

  • We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived for the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
